Project Overview
Traditionally, the phrase "operating theatre" (OR) denoted an amphitheater where physicians and learners could observe surgical procedures. We reimagined this concept to enhance its accessibility. Scrub TV enables surgeries to be broadcasted and viewed in real-time globally within medical communities.

In the realm of surgical training, there's a pressing need to effectively deliver current and relevant surgical content. Contemporary surgeons, driven by the demands of their profession, are actively seeking platforms that are not only readily available but are also interactive and up-to-date. While traditional methods have fallen short of meeting these requirements, our comprehensive analysis of user behaviors, preferences, and industry trends has identified a gap for a tailored, engaging streaming platform.

Final Designs
Through workshops, four distinct user profiles for Scrub TV were identified: Healthcare Professional (HCP), Channel Admin, Channel Manager, and Viewer Only, each having unique permissions and job priorities.
To cater to these varied needs, a dynamic side task bar was introduced, displaying profile-specific menu items. Secondary navigation was addressed with an in-window tab menu.
Challenges arose with users affiliated with multiple companies, necessitating login/logout procedures to ensure HIPAA compliance and data privacy.
Additionally, a step-by-step form was designed to streamline the addition of new TV events or channels. The evolution aimed at providing an intuitive experience while addressing diverse user needs and compliance requirements.
